To organize and properly prepare trays of food from the kitchen service line for server staff in Oxford Grill area.
Able to stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours). Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to be organized and calm in a stressful environment
Essential Job Functions
Interpret food orders coming through kitchen printer from dining room
Organize orders for service
Prepares food trays from completed kitchen line items and organize on trays for service staff to serve
Prepares and serve appropriate side sauces with kitchen items
Keeps station and kitchen service area neat and organized
Keeps beverage service and food service trays neat, clean and organized
Maintains strict quality control on all food being served
Food is at proper temperature
Food is well presented
Proper accompaniments are in place with meals
Maintains server drop off and pick up areas of kitchen to make sure they are clean and functional. These areas include:
Wine/beer service areas
Server Salad Station
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. At other times, the work requires some physical exertion, such as reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
