Kitchen Equipment Service Technician

A Advantage Air, a Smart Care Company, specializes in commercial refrigeration and HVAC, cooking, ice & beverage equipment - providing emergency repairs, preventative maintenance and new equipment sales. Our service area covers all of Central Alabama and Northern Alabama. We are professional, inclusive, customer-centric and our goal is to to hire professional service technicians with 3+ years field service experience diagnosing and repairing Hot Side Kitchen equipment in a commercial setting. Our techs must have the ability to work independently while servicing our commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair gas & electric kitchen equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on systems

• Maintain a clean and stocked company truck

• Use hand tools

• Use iPad for service software

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Full Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term and Long-term Disability, PTO, 401K plan with company match

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

• Rotating on-call required (approx. once every 6 weeks)
• Occasional Weekends

Experience:

• COMMERCIAL Kitchen Equipment : 3 years (Required)
• COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION: 3 years (Nice to Have)
• Commercial HVAC: 3 years (Nice to Have)

License/Certification:

• Valid Drivers Licence
• EPA Card (nice to have)

Work Location: Varying Jobsites

Successful candidates must have a valid Drivers License and be able to pass a drug test.
