Kindergarten Teachers, Maternity Leave Replacements (August 29, 2024 - February 2025)

Weston Elementary School is seeking caring, dedicated, and certified teachers for kindergarten maternity leave positions starting in August 2024. Both Special Education and General Education positions are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with kindergarten curriculum standards

• Create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress

• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Valid New Jersey teaching certification for kindergarten

• Experienced teaching kindergarten (preferred)

• Passionate about early childhood education

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Multilingual a plus
