Bachelor's Degree

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSE

South Dakota Teaching Certificate

• Plan for instruction.

• Provide a motivational climate for students.

• Begin instruction by getting students ready to learn.

• Provide or present information in an organized, efficient manner.

• Respond to students' learning styles.

• Determine the needs and strengths of students.

• Teach to higher level of thinking and problem solving skills.

• Make efficient use of instructional times.

• Teach to facilitate students' retention of learning.

• Manage classroom behaviors effectively.

• Evaluate student progress.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and contribute to district curriculum.

• Communicate with students, colleagues, and parents.
