Resident Teachers Expectations
Supporting and assisting the teacher in setting up the classroom and cleaning up the classroom as needed.
Assembling and installing displays of student work.
Attending faculty workdays and professional development days prior to the start of the school year and throughout the school year.
Attending weekly faculty meetings and team meetings during and after school.
Attending various all-school functions throughout the year including Back to School Night, parent-teacher conferences, evening workshops, trustee-faculty events, faculty retreats, etc.
Supporting and assisting the teacher, as requested, in the preparation of progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, classroom open houses, etc.
Supporting and following the school's policies and procedures.
FLSA Classification: 100% FTE, non-exempt position, M-F work schedule
Reports To: Director of Lower School
Position Purpose: Assist general and Judaic studies teachers
