Part-Time Teaching Position: Kindergarten-5th Grade Science Teacher Holy Name is a vibrant Catholic School located in the Outer Sunset District of San Francisco, where each child is valued and encouraged to be a committed member of our diverse Christian community.

Summary: Under the supervision of the Principal. The ideal candidate will possess relevant classroom experience; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; flexibility; comfort with a variety of tasks/roles; a collaborative spirit; and a commitment to Catholic education. The teacher is an integral member of the teaching team in developing and enhancing established curriculum, as well as modeling a culture of learning and professionalism at Holy Name School. The position is part time (approximately 22.5-25 hours per week) Tuesday through Thursday (preferred). Qualifications: ? Reflect the Catholic values taught at Holy Name School ? Candidates must possess an undergraduate 4-year degree ? Experience working in the science field or science education preferred ? Willing to be able to work in a team environment ? Classroom management skills ? Teaching experience and a passion to work with children ? Demonstrated communication skills with parents, faculty, and students ? Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment and to integrate technology on a daily basis ? Commitment to excellence and rigor ?
