Kids Club Attendant - On-Call

The Sonnenalp is looking for an On-call Kids Club Attendant. This positon will stay open until July 8th.

Wage: $17.00 /hour, plus tips

Hours: Must be able to work at least 2 days a week Wednesday

• Sunday 4:30pm

• 8:30pm

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Kids Club Attendant to join our team. The Kids Club Attendant plays a crucial role in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents enjoy the amenities of the Sonnenalp Hotel. This position requires a friendly demeanor, a love for working with children, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare and Supervision: Supervise children (ages [specify age range]) in the Kids Club facility, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

• Activity Planning and Execution: Plan and organize age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that are fun, educational, and promote physical activity and creativity.

• Engagement and Interaction: Interact with children in a positive and enthusiastic manner, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

• Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's activities, behaviors, and any concerns that may arise.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including emergency protocols, to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.

• Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the Kids Club area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and materials.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to parents and children, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a childcare, camp, or recreational setting is preferred.

• Must be 18 years or older

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
