Description :

The Kids Club Attendant (KCA) ensures that the Kids Club delivers a safe and positive member experience.

  • Responsible for delivering the 24 Hour Fitness Service Promise; contribute to running a clean, friendly and well maintained club, and executing the team member basics of being on time and complying with the dress code

  • Provides a safe, fun and interactive environment to children using the Kids Club

  • Conducts all activities in a positive and professional manner

  • Follows all Kids Club policies and procedures

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Supervise activities of all assigned children in the Kids Club area and ensures child remains in designated area

  • Provide child care to children including paging parent/guardian if necessary to assist with discipline issues and attending to personal needs (i.e., diaper changing)

  • Participate and entertain children with games or other approved activities

  • Administer first aid to children in accordance with company policy

  • Ensure parent receives copy of Kids Club agreement and answer any questions around procedures

  • Report any incidents to Kids Club Supervisor or Operations Manager

  • Report all member complaints to Kids Club Supervisor or Operations Manager

  • Report any child health concerns to Kids Club Supervisor or Operations Manager so a Health Alert may be posted if required

  • Responsible for general cleaning duties in Kids Club including disinfecting toys

  • Ensure parent/guardian has signed Kids Club Agreement/Information Card

  • Ensure individual checking in the child is listed on the Kids Club Agreement/Information Card

  • Ensure parent/guardian completes and signs the Kids Club Register when checking in and checking out children

  • Ensure proper payment is received for the use of Kids Club

  • Ensure all children have a numbered sticker that corresponds to the line number on the Kids Club Register

Qualifications :

  • 6-12 months child care experience preferred

  • Patience in dealing with children and customers

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Energetic and Friendly

Certifications / Educational Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) from an approved organization (within 60 days of employment)

  • State certification (see state specific requirements)

  • Must complete Club Orientation training prior to beginning Kids Club Attendant training

  • Must complete Kids Club Attendant training prior to working alone in Kids Club

  • Must complete Club Safety training within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk, talk and hear

  • Use hands to climb or balance

  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment :

  • While performing the duties of this job, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts

  • The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud

Primary Responsibilities: * Perform general clinical care to patients, administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards * Assist with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examinations, and testing of patients * Collect blood, tissue or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepares them for testing * Administer injections and prescribed medications as directed by the physician * Observe, records, and reports patient's condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to the physician and administers prescribed medications as directed by the physician * Greet patients and prepares them for examination, screens patients for appropriate information and instructs patients in collection of samples and tests * Record patients' medical history, vital statistics and additional information such as test results in electronic medical records * Respond to and refers incoming telephone calls. Instructs patients and family members regarding medications, test results and treatment instructions * Assist with referrals and medication refills * Arrange for patient testing and admission to the hospital when necessary * Maintain patient recall lists * Formulate and updates patient care plans, and orders, prepares, and inspects patient charts, records, tests, and examination results in the patient chart * Prepare examination rooms, including restocking of supplies in treatment areas * Attend required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities * Resolve site requests as assigned * Represent clinic in a professional manner and treat all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative * Handle triage phone calls * Escort patient to exam rooms, interview patient, measure vital signs (i.e. weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature) and documents in patient chart * Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED * Current unrestricted TX state license * BLS / CPR within 30 days * This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease Preferred Qualifications: * 1 years of experience in a clinic environment * Verbal and writing ability required to communicate effectively in informing employees of activities and policies * Numerical ability * Ability to receive, comprehend, and carry out instructions * Ability to work safely with equipment, supplies, and materials * Ability to comply with attendance requirements * Ability to comply with Human Resource policies Physical Demands & Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
