  • Assisting with Birthday Party programming

  • Teaching Sports Skills classes

  • Officiating a game of kickball in the gym

  • Rock Wall Instruction

  • Amazing Maze Play

  • Music time in the infant toddler play space

Job Description

As a Kids Activities Team Member, you'll play an important role in providing a fun, entertaining, engaging educational and safe environment for our Life Time Junior Members. You'll assist with organizing kids programming, activities, and games for children between the ages of three months and 11 years.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet, acknowledge and interact with members and children in a friendly manner

  • Engage children in interactive activities that include story telling, organized arts and crafts, singing and games

  • Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to other children, equipment, and surroundings

  • Clean and maintain the Child Center and program areas

  • Articulate knowledge of Kids Activities programs and services, policies and procedures

  • Promote Life Time Kids programs, products and services

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures within Kids Academy

  • Immediately report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors or abuse relating to youth

Qualifications

  • Working towards a high school diploma or GED
  • Six months to one year of experience working with children (preferred)

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

  • First Aid certification required within the first 60 days of hire

  • Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire

Other Requirements

At Life Time, the safety of our junior member is a top priority. Applicants must complete all state or federal requirements prior to first day of directly working with children or within another specified timeframe. Requirements vary by state and may include, but are not limited to:

  • Physical

  • Tuberculosis test

  • All required vaccinations (or signed exemption)

  • Fingerprints taken by a local police department for a background check

  • Background checks required by state specific child care licensing laws in addition to a Life Time background check

  • Continuing education courses for continued employment in working with children

  • All requirements must be completed at the cost of the applicant, unless prohibited by law.

This position will work closely with clients and lead advisors to help achieve their goals. In this role, the advisor may be the primary client relationship manager or may work in a support role with the lead advisor. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities: * Manage the day-to-day aspects of client engagements as a member of a client service team. * Identifying and recommending appropriate asset management, financial and estate planning advice to deliver a great client experience. * Proactively maintain client relationships through excellent client service. * Assist or lead in the collection of financial planning data, while working with the Wealth Planning Department (WPD) to develop financial plans. * Assist or lead in the creation of asset management reports to be delivered to clients. The servicing advisor may play a lead or support role in delivering these reports. * Display professional communication skills with responses to clients, advisors, and team members by phone, email, and written communications. * Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships. * Coordinate with our external and internal team members to follow up on and execute advice items in a timely manner. * Utilize internal contact management system for documentation of client data, tasks, financial accounts and policy adherence * Supervise and co-ordinate the preparation of meeting materials, including agendas, planning analyses, and investment materials. * Draft summary emails following client meetings, clarifying understandings and outlining steps for implementation. * Manage meeting follow up, including coordination of internal and external resources; responsible for making sure client objectives are completed. * Attend and participate in client meetings as required. * Complete client meeting notes and follow up tasks as required. * Coordinate the execution of trade orders with the Asset Management Department (AMD) * Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Secondary Responsibilities: * Develop a deeper technical expertise in general financial knowledge. * Identify additional planning or asset management opportunities in existing client relationships. * Assist the lead advisor in the preparation and delivery of business development materials. Experience and Skills: Education: * Bachelor's degree required, Finance or related field preferred * CFP achieved Experience: * Minimum 3 years' experience in Client Advisory Services, 5+ years preferred Qualifications: * Technical knowledge of all aspects of comprehensive financial planning; including: cash management, income tax planning, insurance, education planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management * Competent with Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to find creative solutions to problems, devise strategies, and propose solutions * Self-starter and able to perform job duties with little supervision * Customer service oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members * Previous experience working with financial planning software or planning deliverables * Strong organization and time management skills; effectively able to handle multiple projects and prioritize to meet established deadlines Sequoia Financial Group Troy MI
