KFC La&C Control Analyst

This role provides accounting support to the Control function for Yum Brands KFC Latin America & Caribbean (LA&C) business unit. This includes working with accounts receivable collection process, withholding receipts, sales accrual recording, journal entry creation, accounts payable coding and ad hoc projects supporting the KFC LA&C business.

Salary Range: $76,000 to $92,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities: Record monthly Sales Accruals and perform reconciliation between source file and accounting systems. Support accounting month-end process by preparing and recording journal entries, preparing monthly expense trackers and balance sheet reconciliations. Collections of franchisee receivables ensuring adherence to policies, maintain accounts receivable contact list, develop franchisee relationships and ad hoc reporting.

Prepare monthly Unit Count and Revenue Billing Reporting. Collect, maintain, and reconcile withholding tax receipts monthly to comply with Tax annual reporting requirements. Support vendor creation process and accounts payable coding and approval.

Must-have Requirements: 4+ years public or private industry accounting experience including experience with a large company. Bachelor's degree in accounting. Proficiency in English and Spanish (writing, reading, and speaking). Experience with an ERP system.

Excellent computer skills (Advanced Excel, Power Point). Ability and experience with analyzing data, presenting findings, and making corrections and/or recommendations. Preferred Requirements: Experience in the QSR or retail environment.

Experience with JD Edwards and SmartView. Proficiency in Portuguese. Experience with database management.
