Korean American Family Services (KFAM) is a non-profit organization located in the heart of Koreatown specializing in family violence, mental health, Asian foster families, child and youth wellness and social services to Korean immigrant families. The position is to increase the number of community volunteers for KFAM's special events and expand KFAM's community outreach efforts.

The person will help develop programs, design volunteer management systems and support KFAM's programs in outreach in the community and bringing more awareness to the social service programs. This will be a yearlong project. KFAM is looking for bilingual candidates, especially in Korean, Chinese or Tagalog. The clients that we serve are monolingual API communities where bilingual and bicultural.

We engage in workplace justice campaigns, affordable housing development, and worker- and tenant services in Spanish, Korean, and English. We work in the areas of workers' rights and workplace justice, tenants' rights and affordable housing, urban green space, and cultural resistance. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our organization and work as part of a community dedicated to a more just, beautiful, and livable community, city, and world.The Volunteer Coordination Fellow will Create system for volunteer recruitment.Design tools to gauge volunteer skills and interests.Train staff and members.
