As a part of our continued growth, KAO is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for providing our customers a world class experience through excellent product knowledge and skilled use of our business systems. To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks. The ideal candidate needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a very fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations. Essential Job Duties:

Communicate directly with customers and distribution centers to facilitate returns, and resolve shipping and product issues.

  • Handle inbound communications from customers via phone, fax and email

  • Provide quality customer service in line with designated standards

  • Work with distribution centers, third-party carriers, and suppliers to resolve customer facing issues

  • Maintain communication with customers throughout resolution process

  • Knowledgeable on all aspects of product inventory, data entry, invoicing, cancellations, credits, and customer service inquiries

  • Process special orders

  • Assume other duties as assigned

  • Additional related duties may be assigned as needed

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School graduate required.

  • Basic Qualifications: Computer proficiency; Punctuality and attention to detail; The ability to relate to our customers and help them solve problems

  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have good written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work well with others; Must have good customer relation skills; A calm demeanor, enthusiasm and energy to assist customers with returns and resolution of the situations that arise; A desire to grow professionally.

  • Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and be attentive to detail; Some travel required- Up to 5% and/or as needed; company shows such as Expo and BIG shows.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Sales or customer service experience, especially in a call-center environment; 2+ years of college; Bilingual, English/ Spanish or Spanish/English
