Overview

The Key Holder has a strong emphasis on customer service along with product knowledge and visual presentations. Implements and follows the store business plans and ensures operational processes are executed through collaboration with the Store Manager and store team. Serves as a role model and provides guidance to the store team in presenting an excellent customer experience to maximize sales. This position requires a high level of comfort in building rapport through customer interactions. The Key Holder may be required to conduct opening and closing functions as business schedules require.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, supports and values Customer Service in both the in store and online (ship to store) shopping experience.

  • Greets every customer with enthusiasm, maintains a positive, can do attitude at all times.

  • Proactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds appropriately.

  • Educates each customer on current promotions and merchandise assortment to support buying decisions.

  • Makes suggestions to build the customers basket that compliments the customers choices.

  • Supports the company's branding at all times by treating all customers and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner while supporting a common goal.

  • Achieves or exceeds goals associated with company initiatives and programs by actively engaging with customers

  • Understands and supports a caring, fun and engaging work environment for the team and a great shopping experience for the customers.

  • Leads by example, supports and holds team accountable to all company policies and procedures.

  • Executes opening, closing and certain register functions as the business requires.

  • Communicates the Game Plan to the team at the beginning of their shifts and follows up on expected workload and tasks.

  • Leads and assists in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

  • Leads and assists in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroom.

  • Leads and assists in the execution of merchandise presentation directives, pricing and the accuracy of inventory levels.

  • May perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; college preferred

  • Minimum 1 year management experience in a retail or service industry preferred.

  • Strong communications skills and customer service experience required.

  • Energetic, people and results oriented, competitive with a drive to succeed

  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings

  • Ability to read and interpret company directives, handbook and manuals

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of the store

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a regular basis

  • Ability to climb ladders

  • Ability to stoop, bend, climb and lift to stock and retrieve merchandise from stockroom and sales floor on a regular basis

  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone

  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time to greet and assist customers

  • Must be able to use both hands/arms to move and ensemble product

  • Must be able to operate a Point of Sale system /register efficiently and accurately

VIEW JOBS 10/13/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-11T00:00 # of Openings 1 Overview The Reset Merchandiser will be responsible for large-scale rearrangement of a store's products by stocking or restocking a product according to a new plan. This may necessitate tearing down and rebuilding whole sections of the store; the merchandiser must be able to follow a planogram, or diagram, of the new shelf or display. Resets can be quite large and complex, and completing them successfully requires merchandisers to be able to complete the work on schedule and according to plan. Responsibilities * Performs stores/tasks in efficient/cost effective manner * Accurately reports all completed retail tasks via the appropriate designated systems on the day the work is performed. * Communicates effectively with store personnel regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions, and client/sales plan objectives * Completes required training and certification programs. * Engage every work day with CROSSMARK'S communication tools for the purpose of accurately planning, reporting, and reviewing work. * Ability to implement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned. * Participate in team tasks onsite with clients. * Follows company policies, procedures, and position responsibilities. * Schematic implementation: compliance and shelf conditions * Implement customer approved schematics/Plan-O-Grams, tagging all items and obtaining management approval. * Must be able to take direction tagging, rotating and placing products on shelf. * Able to complete timely and accurate reporting (web based) of recaps, expense reports, timesheets, etc. This job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks that may be performed. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds and to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds from the floor to waist or chest high. Significant time driving a vehicle may be required. In general, resets can be very physical in nature. Reset activities could include: removing items from the shelf, moving shelves, building fixtures, reorganizing the products according to the plan-o-gram provided, replacing shelf tags, filling in new products and retrieving additional stock when necessary. Tools: Daily access to the internet with the ability to meet system requirements, printer and phone. You must have access to reliable transportation. The reliable transportation must be able to transport you and any necessary materials from your home to execute a variety of work. Some basic tools may be required (such as hammer, screw driver, tape measure, etc.). Operating a Personal Vehicle: In the event the associate drives a personal vehicle for business purposes, the associate is required to maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and the minimum auto insurance coverage specified by the associate's state of residence. Work Environment: Retail store environment with some travel. Some projects include early mornings (i.e. 6am).
