Key Holders are responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience to all Boot Barn customers. They embody the Boot Barn mission, vision and values in all they do by developing selling and service skills, product knowledge, merchandising and visual presentation skills and point-of-sale proficiency. Key Holders partner with the management team to attain sales goals, assist with staff development, and all store operations.


  • By your actions foster a service and selling culture, exceed customer expectations and build consumer relationships that will be enduring

  • Ensure customers receive the highest level of service through creating an engaging customer centric selling and service environment, accurate product knowledge, maintain SSC merchandising standards, and all other components of customer service

  • Develop product knowledge expertise for our product categories and understand the features and benefits of individual products

  • Maintain and achieve measureable goals including: sales per hour (SPH), units per transaction (UPT), average dollar per transaction (ADT), customer capture rates and email capture rates

  • Be informed and understand current merchandise promotions, and current advertisements

  • Actively seek new ways to improve metrics by partnering with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager

  • Partner with the store leadership team to learn and understand all management processes and reports

  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, set up sales, and store housekeeping; assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock

  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, OSR, and loss prevention; accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers

  • Complete all opening and closing procedures to company standards and comply with the company's Time and Attendance policy and procedures


  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management

  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance

  • Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations

  • Adheres to local, state and federal laws

  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management


  • High School Diploma or GED, 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience

  • Demonstrates leadership and communication skills

  • Work varied hours/days to meet the needs of the business

  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary

  • Travel up to 10% of scheduled shifts

The Financial Services program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an IRMS Business Analyst (Management Analyst 4) position. This position is located in our Headquarters Building in Lacey, WA Ecology's Fiscal team members are highly sought after for their marketable skills due to having one of the State of Washington's most complex financial systems. Employee skills are utilized through knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, policies, and rules to maintain the integrity of financial data and provide direct services to staff. Ecology managers, the Governor, State Auditor, Office of Financial Management, and the Legislature can confidently use Ecology's financial information to make crucial decisions affecting the environment. The IRMS Business Analyst position reports directly to the Fiscal Manager and serves as the business lead for the Integrated Revenue Management System (IRMS) project. This position will be the liaison between business units who have a problem to solve, and the technical staff/vendor that knows how to create the automated solution. This position leads and facilitates the identification and documentation of business requirements for the IRMS. This position is responsible for working with the IRMS cross divisional project team, agency management and staff, software implementers, and on-site contracted project managers to plan, integrate and execute business changes, procedural updates, lean event results and ongoing training activities related to the IRMS. Some of the key work activities performed by the IRMS Business Analyst position include: Under administrative direction, serve as consultant to agency leadership on operations and performance in area of Integrated Revenue Management System (IRMS) business and system integration. FACILITATION AND ANALYSIS * As the IRMS business lead, facilitate workgroup sessions with business SMEs to gather and define business process and system process requirements. * Break down the data gathered into component parts to understand the nature and relationship of the parts. * Recognize underlying principles, patterns or themes in an array of related information gathered. * Clearly see the "bottom line" of the customer's expectations to ensure that work products meet that bottom line. * Able to extract key insights and provide recommendation for strategic and operational improvements for customer success. Advocates for and fosters an environment that promotes process innovation and continuous business process improvement through ongoing review and analysis.DECISION MAKING AND PROJECT ENVIRONMENT * Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. * Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Work closely with business owners to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis for better decision making. * Acquire technical and business leadership approvals at various project stages. * Monitor project schedules - identifying and addressing project issues; escalating to management/administrative roles when necessary. * Manage project communications to include the sharing of team meeting minutes, project status reports, and issue/risk logs as needed. * Ensure key project documents remain up-to-date throughout the project life cycle. * Provide input on and implement detailed Go Live Plans. * Participate in design and deployment change management practices. * Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing. TESTING, DEPLOYMENT AND OPERATIONS * Formulate data driven hypotheses to test/pilot initiatives within different functional business areas. * Help define tools that make repeatable work faster and more efficient. * Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to implementation team. * Use tactical experience to execute processes with current tools. Provide support for new processes and resolves issues with processes as identified by users. * Provide input, as needed, for infrastructure impact statements, feasibility studies, charters, resource assignment RACIs, risk management plans, communications plans, and change management plans. * Define test and deploy schedules in units of trackable work that are understandable to business sponsors and as well as technical team members. * Using knowledge gained during requirements elicitation and analysis, create test plans and test scripts. * Use those test plans and scripts to execute and manage system testing. * Assist in identifying and securing resources to engage in testing activities. * Monitor and report on testing phases, regression and upcoming testing to project team, project manager and sponsor. * Identify and correct bottlenecks in testing progress to meet testing deadlines. Participate in the development of hypercare and go-live support plan.Ensure work/product quality via incremental unit/system/integration testing.Manage transition of project products from project teams to support teams.Discern and process lessons learned in ways that improve future work.In collaboration with Fiscal Management Team and the Information Technology PMO, FAAS, and leadership, develop a model for on-going system support for not only the IRMS, but also other financial systems that are SaaS. Required experience must include: * Demonstrated knowledge of state accounting systems, state laws, policies, and procedures regarding fiscal and administrative issues, and federal laws impacting financial activities. * Three years of experience in gathering business requirements for IT projects, developing and conducting test plans, or business process modeling. * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with, and present complex financial material, to all levels of managers and staff. * Advanced skills and ability to analyze an existing process, identify areas that need improvement, and develop new steps that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process, i.e., "Lean." Ability to use professional, technical, and intuitive judgment in making decisions on a daily basis and exercise extreme confidentiality, discretion, and professional decorum at all times. OR Additional qualifying experience will substitute, year for year, for education.
