Thegoal of this position is to leverage strategic insights within targetedinterconnected inpatient/outpatient systems to achieve identified businessobjectives including formulary access, demand generation, care transitionsupport, and site of care offerings across the Neuroscience portfolio. These accounts would be within an interconnected mental health system(affiliated inpatient, outpatient, and large group practice mental healthtreatment settings). Stakeholders could include Integrated Delivery Networks,Hospitals, Pharmacies focused on Mental Health, Community Mental HealthCenters, and other community settings where schizophrenia and major depressivedisorder patient populations are managed. The role reports into the AreaBusiness Manager (Key Accounts).

Therole would provide education and resources to effectively demonstrate the valueproposition of the neuroscience portfolio of products as a solution to address identifiedcustomer and patient needs. The role works with internal (Market DevelopmentManager, Area Business Specialist, Strategic Market Director, InstitutionalBusiness Group) and external contracted partners to accelerate neuroscience product portfolio growth. This includesformulary access, demand generation, care transition support, and site of careofferings across the neuroscience portfolio

Specificresponsibilities may include:

  • Develop account level strategies andtactics to achieve measurable sales and performance objectives for healthsystems.

  • Gain, protect, and expand formularyaccess and associated pull-through. Drives both penetration andproductivity within health systems.

  • Educate on site of care offerings tosupport patient access and experience

  • Educate and inform key decision makerson the importance of patient persistency between treatment settings.

  • Leverage influencing skills &resources that will ensure sustainable processes to maximize patient access andcare across the interconnected system.

  • Applies account management approach,consultative selling skills, and clinical expertise to enhance our business andbuild support for our portfolio of products.

  • Analyzes and applies qualitative andquantitative market data to assess business opportunities and priorities,including relevant impact of local, District, and Region health care quality,delivery and reimbursement trends.

  • Collaborate and lead extended teammembers to maximize aligned business objectives and ensure accountabilitywithin assigned health systems.

  • Applies clinical and market expertiseacross settings and is recognized by customers as a value-added resource.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required, an MBA is preferred.

  • A valid driver's license issued in one(1) of the fifty (50) United States is required.

  • Five (5) years of experience in Healthcare sales is required.

  • 2+ years in schizophrenia/majordepressive disorder therapeutic areas preferred.

  • Large account management or relatedexpertise preferred

  • The ability to travel, which may includeovernight / weekend travel, up to 30% of the time, is required.

  • Must live in the geography and/or bewilling to relocate to the geography.

The District Manager, Neuroscience will: * Be responsible for the development, execution of compliant promotion of all Neuroscience promoted portfolio products in all optimal sites of care across both outpatient and inpatient settings to approved health care professionals. This role directly supervises Sales Specialists within the defined district. * Be responsible for development and successful implementation of a coordinated district business plan with targeted objectives to achieve sales and business results. * Manage, develop, motivate, and compensate assigned personnel with proper allocation of resources. * Partner and leverage various supporting functions within Neuroscience Sales, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs, and Neuroscience Marketing to deliver on business goals. * Be responsible for strong demand generation leadership with the Sales Specialist team with a heavy emphasis on the outpatient setting. Additionally leads demand generation and care transitions execution within local community hospitals. * Provide direction and management oversight to Sales Specialists for all Neuroscience promoted brands in addition to maintaining an expert knowledge of the approved clinical and HCC guidelines associated with these products to develop their skills and competencies. * Have a strong aptitude for analyzing the business, coaching on approved sales messages, support in developing territory strategies/BPs, and achieve the business goals to develop the team's business acumen. * Work closely with the Sales Specialist team to establish and support career and development plans for the representatives. Qualifications Qualifications: * A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required, an MBA is preferred. * A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States is required. * At least Seven (7) years of experience in Healthcare is required. * Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and motivate others to success * One (1) year of management experience is preferred. * Neuroscience and/or Schizophrenia disease state knowledge is preferred. * The ability to travel, which may include overnight / weekend travel, up to 40% of the time, is required. * Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography.
