The Key Account Rep (KAP) is primarily responsible for developing strategic partnerships with Wal-Mart store managers for their upcoming seasonal business. Establish Mobile Mini as the preferred provider at each store they are responsible for covering.
Manage the relationship and the needs of the assigned stores within the region(s) of coverage
Responsible for overseeing the rental process of each transaction
Identify Managed Services Opportunities for Managed Service Reps
Make calls to stores and handle objections to close new orders
Work closely with national account team, region managers, and mobile mini branch managers on logistics and expected delivery dates
Interact with Wal-Mart store managers and market managers on scheduling and sending reservations for confirmed orders to their team
Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize daily, weekly, and monthly for largest opportunities
Consistently follow up with open opportunities
Must be able to demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Excellent computer skills, including PowerPoint
Prefer candidate with experience servicing customers in an inside or outside sales role
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and fast pace environment
Hunter mentality for sales with ability to learn, adapt, and receive adequate coaching on a regular basis
