Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Key Account Manager for the Sales department. The Key Account Manager FILM is a key sales role reporting to the Director, Sales responsible for achieving assigned financial targets through development and execution of commercial and promotional plans for broadband video accounts in North America while supporting global account teams outside of North America. This role will focus on Theatrical New Release and Catalog film product. Successful candidate will be viewed by clients as a key contributor in addition to acting as the key driver of client growth for WB working across many stakeholders. Develops and executes annual plan through collaboration with Director, Sales and with Sales Integration, Marketing, Technical Operations, Finance and other WB divisions. Assists with international territories via global communication and coordination.
Develop global strategic account plans and work with global broadband digital clients to achieve assigned financial targets and support adoption of WB strategic goals and initiatives identifying and executing upon new business opportunities.
Collaborate and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders both US and International including Sales Integration, Programming, Marketing, and Tech ops as well as WB cross-divisional teams to develop and implement programs, drive sales, and grow WB market share and profitability.
Drive Broadband account pricing and bundling promotions including title selection based upon availability, sales history, and merchandising asks. Audit promotional execution, capture promotional performance, and conduct data analysis to evaluate effectiveness. Present post-mortem results internally as well as externally to clients. Make recommendations for future improvements and develop best practices. Monitor and track theatrical and television title merchandising placement on Broadband client platforms on a weekly basis.
Stay ahead of key trends and assist in the development of new digital products and configurations (digital extras, bundles, themes, etc) for distribution via Broadband clients and ensure successful deployment, marketing and merchandising.
Coordinate with WB client account teams in international territories as necessary to ensure global client objectives are met and key markets have necessary home office support to execute local territory plans. Act as home market expert for the international market teams.
Assist in development of yearly budgets, forecasts, and associated senior management presentations.
Support and advise on implementation of applications and platforms that increase efficiency, automation and online collaboration between key stakeholders crucial to overall sales process.
What do we require from you?
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Film, or related field required. MBA degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years professional experience required in sales, account management or business development roles. Previous experience in digital entertainment industry. Some international experience working with multiple markets and cultures preferred.
Knowledge of theatrical, TV, and/or home entertainment product and various digital distribution business models including Electronic Sell Through and Video on Demand. Experience on the iTunes and FandangoNOW a plus.
Ability to contribute to and develop strategies for Broadband account revenue growth.
Demonstrates integrity and reliability with Broadband clients to reinforce long-term relationships. Interacts diplomatically with Broadband clients at all levels.
Must have excellent retail data analysis skills and comfort in analyzing data, identifying trends, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
Understanding of working and managing across different cultures and international markets, multiple language proficiency a plus.
Proficiency with MS Office software required, especially Excel and PowerPoint..
