Key Account Manager
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (SUMMARY)
Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Key Account Manager is responsible for business development with Key Accounts. Including developing, managing, and growing said accounts.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Kind & Length of Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in marketing, sales or business development in the oleo chemical or close adjacent space.
Proven success in developing and managing key accounts.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
Generate new business with Key Accounts, selling the entire Cremer portfolio (Oleo Chemicals and Tolling/Cont. Manufacturing services).
Collaborate with the respective Business Manager to identify targeted key accounts.
Identify new products and services to support portfolio diversification objectives.
Use CRM, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows as necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
Address customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
Diligently maintain accurate and current customer records, using automated systems, including but not limited to CRM system.
Identify prospective customers/markets by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
Share customer information/product risk information, including:
SDSs
Brochures.
Specifications.
Appropriate end uses and safety hazards; and
Other requests as appropriate.
Where relevant, enforce blocks on products until customer is "qualified" by determination of appropriate use or ability to safely handle Peter Cremer NA's product(s);
Initiate management of change (MOC) for new products.
Shadow Business Manager to learn P&L procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel 30-40%
Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, Security Requirements covered under Local State and Federal Regulations.
Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures and other requirements.
