Key Account Manager
As the Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for selling Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) company brewing systems directly to Costco. You will represent the company to the account, and the account to the company in all sales-oriented activities. You will be responsible for a broad range of products/categories where the acquisition and retention of accounts may have a significant strategic impact on the success and growth of the company. You must utilize strategic thinking to create joint business plans, influence internal stakeholders, and solve highly complex customer challenges.
What you will do:
Develop, implement, communicate and execute brewer and beverage strategy (Annual Operating Plan) (AOP).
Partner with customers on category management and joint business planning, leveraging joint multifunctional teams from both supplier and account.
Work with Costco e-commerce, Business Centers and Roadshow buyers.
Own brewer and beverage sales responsibilities.
Manage trade systems & funds.
Conduct business meetings/reviews with senior level managers.
Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Serve as central Point of Contact (POC) for communication across assigned customer base.
Manage and increase customer revenues.
Represent KDP at trade shows.
Increase brewer installed base.
Implement and execute the programs, tools, and processes needed to ensure exceptional execution and measureable results.
Deliver practical tools, programs and solutions to keep KDP top-of-mind with our customers.
Foster deep relationships at customer and across functions.
Coordinate & execute top-to-tops to discuss strategic and operational issues.
Consistently synthesize data and recognize non-obvious trends, patterns and connections and translate into high impact solutions and recommendations for customers.
Proactively share best practices with peers.
What you must have:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of experience, MBA and minimum 2 years successful sales experience.
Prefer experience in a "Fortune 500" company, or in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage, Small Appliance or related industries.
Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Skilled at data extraction and analytics with the ability to communicate information effectively across multiple departments; proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), CRM Management, Trade Fund Management and Online Meeting tools.
Understanding of sales functions, including strategic selling, fact based selling, and customer engagement.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
