As a Key Account Executive, you will provide exemplary customer service in the process of satisfying customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You will educate, instruct, and up sell all assigned and newly generated accounts in a predetermined geographic territory and enable the company to maximize and maintain the volume of business these accounts may produce while helping the client understand the "best" options for their patient's needs.


License/Certification/Education: Normally a B.A./B.S. Degree preferred w/2-4 years of outside sales experience. Normally requires a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record.


ScheduleMonday - Friday 8-5, and as business needs require

Further information is available on the company's Web site at Position Summary: Sells Enesco's products to retail chain stores with a regional or national presence in the United States. Represent company in all facets of this relationship including retailer support and service Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: * Identifies and qualifies new sales opportunities with current and new customers to meet assigned sales goals. * Presents sales proposals, leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making processes and overcomes objections to closing the sale. * Prepares written sales proposals. * Maintain customer relationship by handling all requests and coordinating customer service support. Troubleshoots problems regarding shipping and other services. * Consults with customer on product placement, merchandising and promotional programs. * Prepares sales forecasts and progress reports as defined by sales management. * Keeps informed of new products, services and general information of interest to customers. * Participate in trade shows as required. Experience, Competencies, and Education: * Minimum of five years of experience selling to national or regional retail chains with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals. * Experience with discount retailers, department stores or chain-drug is preferred. Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business or related field or equivalent experience. * Excellent formal presentation and written communication skills. Strong time management and organization skills. * EDI and supply-chain experience preferred. * A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of marketplace trends, retailer needs and possible application to new business development. * Proficient in computer skills internet, e-mail, spreadsheets, documents, presentations and order entry. * Additional experience with CRM systems (Salesforce).
