Kennel Assistant (Part-Time)

VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital is looking for a Part-Time Kennel Assistant who will be primarily working on the weekends to help support our existing staff. This position will also require working some evenings and holidays.

VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital is a six-doctor general practice that also provides boarding and daycare. Our team at VCA Stoney Creek enjoys having fun together. There's a lot of laughter and comradery that helps make this an enjoyable atmosphere. We are all here because we love pets and want to give them the best care that we can. Staff appreciation is something that happens regularly, not just on a certain week a year. From catered lunches to surprise treats, everyone deserves to know they are valued. We strive to give the most current veterinary care to our patients, and make sure their owners feel valued and heard.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cages.

• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats.

• Walking dogs.

• Bathing dogs.

• Doing laundry.

• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises.

• Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.

Evening, Weekend, and Holiday Hours are required for this position.
