Part-Time Kennel Assistant to join our team and help care for our furry friends!
Location: N48 W14850 W. Lisbon Road, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Shift Details: This is a Part Time position (under 30 hours/week) working Mon-Thur 3:30-7:30pm and some Saturdays
Pay Range: $14.00 - $17.00/hour (based on experience)
What We Are Looking For:We are seeking an ideal candidate with experience in doggy daycare or pet boarding facilities, preferred but not required. We do lodge exotics, dogs and cats. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with all species. Animal handling experience is also preferred but not required. Candidates must have a flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Job Summary: The Kennel Assistant provides daily care, feeding and exercise of boarding and hospitalized animals. The Kennel Assistant also pays close attention to animals' general health signs such as signs of stress and changes in eating or elimination habits, promptly notifying technicians and veterinarians when a pet needs medical attention. The Kennel Assistant interacts with clients in person and by phone and e-mail. Proper record documentation and accurate completion of boarding forms and cage cards is critical. The Kennel Assistant must pay close attention to details, understand, and follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures and monitor boarding pets.
