We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as an IMF Furnace Operator. Furnace Operators are important members of the team, responsible for operating and maintaining the IMF Furnace while maintaining high standards expected related to Safety and Quality.

• A high level of concentration

• Ability to operate production equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner

• Experience in machine set-up and computers

• Experience trouble shooting equipment

• Ability to read and understand written product specifications

• Drive and understanding key figures and how to maximize output

• Work well under pressure with minimal supervision

• Self-motivated with high energy

• Good people skills

• Well organized

• Able to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague

• Curiosity to learn how to melt stone into lava!

Essential Functions:

• Run and monitor all process equipment required in the Industrial Melting Furnace (IMF) area

• Maintain steady uninterrupted flow of melt and binder to the spinners

• Maintain a clean safe work area, reporting any problems to management immediately

• Continuously monitor, pressures, water flow, melt flow and trouble shoot as needed.
