K-8 RISE / ALC PARAPROFESSIONAL, ESY ProgramPOSITION OVERVIEW

Support teachers and high needs students maintain skills over the summer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Facilitate student learning under direction of the classroom teacher
Support student engagement in activities
Provide direct instruction as planned by the classroom teacher
Support social interactions
Assist with coordination and preparation of materials
Documentation of skills and/or behaviors as directed by the classroom teacher
Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

Experience working with students on the autism spectrum

Schedule:
July 8, 2024 - August 15, 2024
9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday
Additional day of training prior to start of program
Additional 15 minutes per day for planning
