Woodfords Family Services is actively seeking caring and compassionate educators to join our growing team as Educational Technicians II or III (Ed Techs) at our Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) Program. Positions are full-time (40 hrs.) and include a competitive compensation and generous benefits package!
Position Summary
The Ed Tech II or III will support the SPPS Program by working directly one-to-one with students (K-5th grade) diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in our therapeutic classroom setting.
With oversight, training, and instruction from the classroom Lead Teacher and clinical team, Ed Techs apply the use of evidence-based practices and interventions to support learners in developing behavioral and academic skills that can be successfully integrated and transitioned to the public school department.
Services will be provided onsite at our SPPS Program in Westbrook, ME!
Here's what we're looking for:
Full-time (40 hrs.); Monday through Friday; 8:00am-4:00pm
$21.50-22.50/per hour - commensurate with education and experience
$1,500 Sign-on bonus - paid at successful completion of 6 months employment!
Qualifications of the Ed Tech:
Ed Tech II - Minimum of 60 college credits
Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
Ed Tech III - Minimum of 90 college credits
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
Preference given to individuals with a minimum of (2) years of related experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Valid driver's license with clean record
Personal vehicle and current auto insurance
