• Teacher of Moderate Disabilities

• Experience in working with a wide range of disabilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers on curriculum delivery & assessment • Adapt learning material for student needs

• Design and implement Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) • Collaborate with parents and school staff to track students' progress • Act as liaison for special education students

• Engage in ongoing consultations/collaboration with educators and related service providers

• Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff.

• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs. • Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategies

• Evaluate student progress which includes progress reports and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary

• Appropriate DESE licensure is required

• Other duties assigned by the building administration
