Connections for Kids is one of Maines leading mental health agencies and for 26 years has been making a difference in the lives of children and families Position K 12 Classroom Behavioral Specialist Location Kittery Kids Academy K 6 & Kittery Academy 7 12 South Portland Maine Compensation Up to 23hr depending on education & experience Schedule Monday Friday School Day Hours Description Kittery Kids Academy grades K 6 and Kittery Academy grades 7 12 are private special education schools that blend behavioral support services with education for 10 students who have a mental health diagnosis that includes conduct disorders anxiety and PTSD As a BHP for Connections for Kids youll work alongside a licensed clinician and school personnel to provide support and teach behavioral management skills for our small group of students This is a full time school year position with time off for school vacation weeks and includes a 6 week summer program between July and August located in Kittery ME QUALIFICATIONS At least 90 college credits 3 years
