Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a global world leader in engineering and R&D as it grows its User Experience team. Altran is seeking a Junior User Experience Designer to join a user experience team to execute client engagements in a consulting environment. The candidate ideal should be highly motivated, self-driven person who works well independently and can thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively to clients is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research with end users to capture requirements to solve customers' business problems

  • Ability to conduct on-site and remote usability testing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and translate customers business requirements and user needs into compelling user experiences

  • Create visual solutions and interface designs and the ability to present and justify designs to customers and peers to gain buy-in

  • Create wireframes, sitemaps and user flows to articulate solutions

  • Create detailed functional specifications and wireframe/design annotations that define the interaction components of a solution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a design discipline

  • 3+ years of experience user research, experience design, information design, interaction design, interface design, visual and product design

  • Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite and similar design tools and industry standards such as Sketch

  • Experience working on a scrum / agile projects

  • Experience with GitHub, ZenHub, and Agile software development methodologies

  • Competency in wireframing tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, and Omnigraffle

  • Experience in defining and creating brand and style guidelines

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proven track record of creating innovative solutions

  • Out-of-box thinker, innovator and critical thinker

  • Must possess experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams

  • Hands on experience of user centered design and agile practices

  • Strong portfolio required that demonstrates your UX and visual design skills

Job Summary Summary: Work with Nuance partners to ensure their success designing, developing, testing and refining voice user interfaces. This involves collaborating on requirements and design goals, helping them through the development process, both hands on and as a consultant, and helping them through the pilot phases to ensure that their voice user interface goals are met. Responsibilities: ● Be a key contributor to the design of voice assistants for use cases in EMRs (electronic Medical Records) in collaboration with the client● Ensure the design vision is being met, communicated, and adjusted where necessary throughout all phases of the product lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, analysis of user data, rinse, repeat. ● Collaborate closely in a cross-functional team that include engineers, researchers, marketing, and product managers. ● Create & maintain effective & highly detailed design documentation including logical user flows, dialogs, functional logic, and prompts for our core product. ● Ensure that design changes and new features are continually documented and communicated. ● Create proposals to the core team on better and improved process maintenance/automation possibilities● Facilitate collaborative meetings and deliverable reviews. ● Participate in analysis of user data across voice assistant solutions. Qualifications Number of Years of Work Experience: 5 Required Skills: ● A track record of applying common user-centered design practices and tools to solve tough design problems. ● Demonstrated ability to create high-quality user experience documentation, including wireframes and interaction specifications.● Experience designing for complex workflows.● Experience in Agile Scrum● Experience building products using C# and JavaScript, scripting language such as Python● Prototyping experience a big plus.● Experience in US English voice/dialog design.● Familiarity with current development technologies● Excellent verbal skills● Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Preferred Skills: * Experience with JavaScript running in IE, Chrome and Edge.• Experience with iOS, or Android mobile development• Experience with Windows development * Experience with Google, Amazon or Microsoft NLU solutions.
