LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Survey Programmer for for a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity with our opinion research client in downtown Chicago, IL!

The Junior Survey Analyst will:

  • Utilize UNICOM Intelligence (previously IBM SPSS Data Collection) to program online surveys for the government and public sector

  • Produce accurate data collection scripts

  • Customize online survey layouts using modern standards in Web design

  • Organization and delivery of complex projects and resolve problems swiftly

  • Participate in job set-up meetings to ensure clear understanding of project requirements

  • Engage and support team work and collaboration

  • To abide by the Quality procedures and apply them effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Graduate degree strongly preferred) in social sciences or statistical related field.

  • Familiarity with survey methodology and design

  • Hands-on experience in sophisticated Web-based survey platforms (e.g., Unicom Intelligence, SPSS Data Collection, SPSS Dimensions, Voxco survey software, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience in scripting &/or programming languages and web technology (preferably VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, & CSS)

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 The Survey Interviewer (Health Coach) will receive formal didactic training through the University of Illinois at Chicago relevant to the patient population with whom they will work and specific to the research grant protocols. As a health coach, all activities will be regularly monitored by the investigators. The position conducts qualitative research by preparing data/information collected in a standardized format from participants in the field. The health coach will cover the targeted neighborhoods of the UI Health. Duties: Approx. Percent of Time Essential Duties 30 Coach patients/study participants on health behaviors (e.g., healthy eating, physical activity, taking medications) using motivational interviewing and goal setting. 20 Schedule and complete home visits to patients/study participants in the study. 10 Search for and connect patients/study participants with local resources and agencies to help fill unmet social or medical needs. 10 Complete documentation following each patient contact (paper- and web-based) per research protocols 10 Facilitate telehealth encounters between participants and research pharmacists and facilitate communication between participants and outcome-based data collectors for quarterly data collection. 10 Maintain telephone contact with patients/study participants and use custom software to schedule text message reminders and support messages 5 Provide diabetes therapy support to patients/study participants in conjunction with a pharmacist and communicate with the pharmacist regarding each patient that they assist to answer questions, convey information, and coordinate care. 5 Meet and communicate with the investigators as needed.
