Title: SFCC Jr Developer

Brief Summary:

The Junior Sales Force Commerce Cloud Developer, will help implement small to large solutions within the full SFCC/SFRA technology stack. The developer is also responsible for informing the business of feasibility, timelines, and potential risks. They are well-versed in SFCC SFRA implementation and front-end experiences. This person is self-directed, highly motivated, and willing to creatively work through a problem. They will deliver scalable, stable, and innovative digital engagements across mobile and desktop technologies.

Essential Job Duties:

• Develop business functionality in multi-tier web solutions

• Build solid HTML/CSS, cross-browser, cross-device compatible pages

• Tackle bugs within a complex, global code base

• Maintain existing code base and assets

• Provide level of effort for all project requests, as well as provide a technical approach

• Experience working within an AGILE methodology

• Excellent working knowledge of web development best practices and web accessibility

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent knowledge of SFCC/Demandware API and development patterns in SFRA

• Solid grasp of XHTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (front & backend)

• Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards

• W3C compatibility

• Working knowledge of standard suite of accessibility tools (screen readers, etc.) and ADA compliance

• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as jQuery

• Understanding of mobile and web-based design constraints, editors, browser platforms and their differences

• Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate effectively and independently

• Aptitude and eagerness to learn and solve problems

Education & Experience:

• 2+ years of certified or equivalent experience as a developer for Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform; preferably on SFRA platform
• BA in Computer Science or a related program, or equivalent CS education in a web development program, or equivalent work experience
