The Engineering and Analysis Directorate (EASD) of AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for a qualified candidate to support the position of Security Support Specialist for NAVAIR's PMA-262 organization. Principal duties include, but are not limited to:
Administers and coordinates DoD and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
Provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, physical security to ensure compliance with standards. Reviews and edits Program Protection Plans (PPP), as well as reviews, edits, and coordinates the release of Security Classification Guides (SCG's).
Provides support in maintaining a variety of financial or other records, store records both manually and electronically; verify statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compile information; and handle and adjust complaints.
Maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of facilities, equipment, materials.
Reviews security briefings and security education programs.
Serve as the Lead Physical Security POC for the UAS Security Team.
Manage the distribution of public release tasks and UAS security inbox message.
Prepares, sends, and receives visitor certifications.

High School diploma or GED
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Four (4) years of general clerical experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools OR two (2) years of government or military experience in clerical functions
