PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Within the SAP Global Security (SGS) organization the department "Security Compliance Office" (SCO) is globally responsible for the Compliance Framework for SAPs cloud and IT delivery units (incl. SAP S/4HANA cloud, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Ariba, or SAP SuccessFactors, to name just a few) as well as for related security compliance demand topics. SCO provides strategic cloud compliance direction and advisory services to enable SAP to be the best-run Enterprise Cloud Company. SCO acts as the trusted partner & advisor to SAP's cloud delivery and IT units for all security compliance matters. SCO further acts as single point of contact for SAP's external auditor and is owner of the audit engagement. The following teams are part of SCO:

  • Operations Office

  • Competence Center

  • Product & Service Certification

  • Validation, Assessments & Audits

  • Service Continuity Management

The primary objectives of SCO are to advise SAPs cloud delivery and IT units on obtaining and maintaining local and global compliance and regulatory obligations to generate trust through compliance.

As junior Security Compliance Support Specialist you will be appointed to the Security Compliance Competence Center (S3C). The role is contributing to run and improve SCO's operations support processes and functions. A key focus will be to support building up a central service desk function for SCO, including the introduction/adaption of a service management tool.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Operate S3C's support services, focus on SCO Service Desk 2nd/3rd Level

  • Contribute to introduction/adaption of service management tool for a SCO Service Desk

  • Facilitate automation of S3C's support processes and activities

  • Promote agile, innovative and user centric culture in operations support processes

  • Readiness to participate in a collaborative global environment and effectively communicate with internal as well as external customers and stakeholders

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline

  • Knowledge of IT service management processes and concepts, especially Service Desk

  • Strong interest in security, compliance and process management and high level of attention to details

  • Proactive behavior, result orientation & execution focus, high willingness to learn and the participate in challenging projects

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and ability to work in an international team

Preferred skills

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline

  • Certification in leading practice for IT service management (e.g. ITIL, ISO 20000)

  • Experience with leading service management tools, such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk

  • Know-how about Information Security Management Systems, auditing and certification standards (e.g. SOC1, SOC2, ISO 900x, ISO

WORK EXPERIENCE

1-2 years' experience in IT support and/or IT service management.
