Requirements & Verification Engineer team member for the Software Engineering Directorate (SED) MDA Targets Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) lab. The Requirements & Verification Engineer will write scripts for mission specific requirements for BMDS target systems; identify performance requirements for verification; create and maintain a Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix for the identified requirements; identify data, and associated data representations, that can be used to verify that the requirements have been met; support performance assessment studies; and coordinate with the six degrees of freedom (6DOF) and Processor-In-The-Loop (PIL) teams to ensure that the needed data will be available. In addition, the engineer will assist in the development, modification, and maintenance of scripts for automated analysis of the test data in support of Data Reviews and Test Reporting
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related field or equivalent experience.
Two years applicable software design engineering experience.
Active Secret Security Clearance Required.
Experience with programming in C, C++, or Fortran.
Experience operating both Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Strong math or physics background preferred.
Familiarity or experience with MATLAB.
