We are looking for a strong, adaptable and detailed-oriented Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team! This person will be a key member of the team focused on hiring top talent into the company through administrative, sourcing, and recruiting tasks. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate poise in a fast-paced, highly fluid, and collaborative environment. This role will interact daily with candidates and business leaders across the company.

This person will be a key member of the team focused on hiring top talent into the company while also managing multiple projects to support The RealReal's strategic initiatives. Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for driving growth across the company and ensuring an all-around best-in-class experience in the recruiting process.

This position is based in Brisbane, CA and will report to the Talent Acquisition Director.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source, screen, and recommend top talent for all positions including junior through mid-level professionals.

  • Coordinate interview processes, properly preparing interviewers and ensuring a positive experience for the candidates.

  • Host candidates and ensure an amazing interview experience

  • Coordinate complex candidate interviews and accommodations as needed

  • Help drive recruiting projects and programs including employment branding initiatives and talent outreach/events

  • Manage, quality check, and maintain data integrity in our ATS

  • Post new requisitions on our Careers Page, social media, and various job boards

  • Act as a first point of contact for applicant and new hire inquiries

  • Partner with recruiters to ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Identify opportunities for improving recruiting operations and processes

  • Develop, implement and manage a proactive recruitment search and sourcing system to target, identify and source internal and external candidates.

  • Build applicant pool by researching community events, college career fairs and diverse internet sources.

  • Initiate background and reference checks, as well as drug tests.

  • Extend offers of employment.

  • Manage candidate reimbursements as needed

  • Assist existing employees by accurately directing and recording candidate referrals and manage referral bonuses

  • Provide status reports, metrics and other information as requested for executive updates and status reporting.

  • Partner with the People team and follow up with new employees to ensure a positive on-boarding experience.

  • Proactively learn and demonstrate an understanding of the Company's industry and business.

  • Serve as a trusted and respected member of the People team.

  • Other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year in administrative work (Recruiting or Coordinating experience a plus)

  • Bilingual in Spanish (nice to have)

  • Knowledge of Google desktop products (G-Mail, Calendar, Hangout, Drive).

  • Experience with ATS systems or willingness/ability to learn quickly.

  • Must be flexible, have a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency

  • Proven ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Excessive attention to detail with a can-do attitude

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Have an analytical mindset and have a track record of being a self-directed problem solver

  • Be a team player and have a sense of humor

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
