Junior Quality Assurance Analyst Intern

Job Summary:

As a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing formal performance test plans to assist our development team with ensuring the delivery of quality software applications. This testing spans over the full suite of products offered by AssetWorks and utilizes multiple testing applications. The Junior Quality Assurance Analyst will be immersed in our software development lifecycle and gain firsthand knowledge and experience of working in the development and testing environment.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated performance test scripts.

• Work with development leadership to define performance bottlenecks and explore solutions.

• Research, test, and analyze different software components within the AssetWorks Facilities suite of software applications.

• Use version control system (Git) to check automated tests into CI/CD pipeline to continuously run automated testing.

• Work closely with development team members to achieve release goals.

Qualifications:

• Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or a similar field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Programming experience (Javascript, java, etc.)

• Ability to write basic SQL commands.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, IntelliJ, etc.

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
