The Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) announces a nationwide search to fill the position of Division Director, Division of Chemistry (CHE). Appointment to this Senior Executive Service position may be on a career basis, or on a one- to three-year limited-term basis, with a salary range of $165,842 to $175,400. The successful candidate will possess an established record of significant achievement in research administration as well as leadership responsibility in academe, industry or government. In addition to having a strong record of research and education accomplishments within his or her technical communities, the Division Director must be experienced and competent in technical, financial, and administrative management. He/she must work well with people, be an effective communicator, and act as a mentor to continuously develop the diversity of talents and skills of his or her colleagues at all levels.

VIEW JOBS 10/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-01T00:00 Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Join CACI as a System Administrator in a role that supports and maintains complex systems in a fully virtualized cloud environment. This role requires working closely with developers in support of Linux and Windows based servers. Under this program, CACI provides IT development and maintenance support to Department of Defense (DoD) office-level systems. The System Administrator will be a member of a four-person multi-discipline system administration team providing virtual server systems as well as value-added solutions to IT staff customers by maintaining secure configurations, escalation support, and delivering on service targets. As part of the client's IT team, the System Administrator works closely with their team, management, application architects, cybersecurity, application System Administrators, and DBAs supporting the office's customers. As a System Administrator you will: * Configure, troubleshoot and maintain virtual server platforms. Operating systems supported include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 & 7, Windows Server Core, 2016 and 2012R2 hosted within a DoD cloud environment * Configure and maintain NAS Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Firewall, and Directory Services such as MS Active Directory management and Group Policy administration * Perform performance monitoring, results analysis and enhancement, as well as process automation through the use of various scripting methods or available technologies * Provide daily support and maintenance of servers as well as problem resolution, tracing, PowerShell & Unix scripting, and project support * Create and maintain installation and configuration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Maintain current knowledge of DoD security and technical guidelines and the organization's policies.
