This position is a technical role within the Ops Reliability Engineering team. The Level II Engineer shows proficiency in multiple technologies and provides support for Development, Operations and others. Level IIs work with peers to create new systems and procedures that promote automation with reliable and reproducible results that can be used to support multiple groups within the company.
The Level II Engineer is tasked with helping push platform and tooling evolution out to the various teams that utilize them and is viewed as a mentor to more junior engineers and as well as a resource available to more senior engineers to assist with validating approach and design decisions.

Contribute to internal documentation for tools and processes used by the team and provided by the team to other teams within the company.
Regularly report progress to management.
Maintain and update existing tools that are currently being used within and outside the team.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call duty roster to provide support for platforms and tools under the responsibility of the team.
At least 2 years' experience of system administration or related work.
Experience with Linux or another similar Unix-based operating system.
Knowledge and practical experience with a scripting language (shell, python, etc.)
Knowledge of basic networking including IP addressing and basic network troubleshooting.
BA/BS degree in applicable discipline, or equivalent work experience.
