Junior Operations Analyst

Business Management Division - Supporting PM Soldier SETA

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Salary: 70K 95K Annual; Commensurate with experience/education

Clearance: DoD Secret

Duties:

  • Serves as the Operations Officer to support development, acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of PEO Soldier Products and Systems.

  • Review various acquisition, operations, administrative and programmatic suspenses /taskers /data calls from OSD, Joint Staff and HQDA levels.

  • Develop specific tasks; suspense dates; and coordination and identify a recommended action/lead points of contact or provide concurrence or appropriate comment/input on behalf of the PEO for taskings.

  • Track all suspenses, taskers, and data calls from higher headquarters.

  • Participate in weekly staff meetings while capturing key notes and actions and disseminating info/actions as appropriate; tracking actions to conclusion.

  • Coordinate external reporting requirements to leadership and higher headquarters.

  • Manage and execute ad-hoc requirements as required.

  • Recommend improvements to internal operations and administrative procedures.

  • Prepare, edit and update briefings and other written documentation.

  • Schedule and coordinate content for program reviews.

  • Works directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements. Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data. Compiles analytical financial reports for managers. Develops graphs and charts through data aggregation for statistical analysis.

Requirement:

This position is for on-site support at Fort Belvoir.

Basic Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors Degree (preferably in Business, Finance or Analytics)

Experience: Minimum of 3 years
