This role involves working closely with IT team to ensure efficient and effective network operations, including troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades.Responsibilities:*
Assist in diagnosing and resolving network issues. * Provide support for LAN, WAN, and wireless network segments. * Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements. * Help in the installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls. * Assist in setting up and maintaining network connections and cabling. * Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents. * Prepare and update network diagrams and technical reports. * Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. * Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues. * Assist in training users on network best practices and troubleshooting techniques. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. * Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.Qualifications: * Education: * Associate's degree in information technology, or a certification related field. * Experience: * Previous experience in IT support or a related field is a plus. * Familiarity with basic networking concepts and technologies. * Skills: * Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. * Basic knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screeningBergey's is an equal opportunity employer.
