But we couldn't do any of that without Technical Operations. Our IT Operations team is the glue that holds it all together. If you join our Hosting team, you'll be working with the servers, networking frameworks, test beds, development platforms and data center that allows us to do what we do bestdevelop innovative software.

We have an immediate opening for a Junior Middleware Engineer looking to gain valuable experience in supporting a COTS product. The Junior Middleware Engineer will be someone who can bridge the gap technically between development, production and the infrastructure it resides on while continually improving the hosting experience for our customers. If you enjoy seeing web applications become production reality and want a role supporting the development of innovative web applications while keeping the systems humming, we'd like to talk to you about this opportunity.


  • Contribute to and maintain system standards as they relate to configuration management, hardening, and security

  • Perform software installs, upgrades and troubleshooting for customers who host our software on their own servers, or who host with us

  • Develop concise, detailed documentation for new and existing environments

  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting production environments

Job Requirements


  • 1+ years supporting of Java web application technologies such as Tomcat

  • 1+ years working with XML or YAML configuration

  • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors which often require interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams

  • Must be eligible to obtain and hold a US Government security clearance of Secret or higher

Provides technical direction for on orbit mission support, plans for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommends alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support. Provides failure analysis of the performance of the orbiting satellites via telemetry data. Utilizes system software to accomplish all spacecraft control tasks and recommends improvements. Analyzes and validates software performance. Performs flight length orbit adjust and daily special event studies. Requires successful completion of a certification program.
