Junior Manufacturing Technologist

Job Summary: The Junior Manufacturing Technologist will be involved in all facets of the manufacturing process, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to technical support for both internal production issues and external customer complaints. This role demands active participation in the design, setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Active involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI), reviewing Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and developing jigs and fixtures
• Manage the setup and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with product specifications
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as wiring diagrams and manufacturing process instructions
• Provide technical support to the CSR team for resolving technical issues raised by customers, aiding in root cause analysis and suggesting corrective actions
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and adherence to industry standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other technical tools necessary for design and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
