Junior-Level Systems Engineer/Analyst

Torch is seeking an Junior-Level Systems Engineer/Analyst for the execution and evaluation of tactical defense software via system and component level simulations and testing in support of the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities:

• Support software testing of the Army IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS) and relevant adaptive sensors and launchers.

• Analyze system behaviors to identify potential improvements in tactical software, facilitate future capabilities, and assist in the creation of defense designs and preflight configurations for live fire test events.

• Evaluate test plans and test procedures from the defined test objectives for the system under test.

• Create, maintain, and improve Python-based post-processing and analysis tools suite.

• Effectively communicate analysis results with customers and program stakeholders.

• Prioritize and balance both independent and teamwork environments where applicable.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university

• Desired Experience: 2-5 years

• Linux Operating System

• Window Office Suite

• Python (preferred) and/or Matlab

• Data simulation and data capture

• Troubleshooting software within a simulation environment

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
