TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Junior Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

The Junior Inventory Control Clerk will work in the warehouse or other storage facility to maintain materials and supplies inventory. Issues requested property to the requesting function/department. Will update and maintain receiving and dispensation records to ensure inventory accuracy and visibility. Will conduct material audits including with government officials such as DCMA representative, as well as responsible for accurate record keeping maintaining AS9100 certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in the warehouse or other storage facility to maintain materials and supplies inventory.

  • Assist with keeping accurate counts of inventory and inventory transactions in an SAP business system

  • Issue requested property to the requesting function/department.

  • Update and maintain receiving and dispensation records to ensure inventory accuracy and visibility.

  • Assist with conducting material audits including with government officials such as DCMA representative, as well as responsible for accurate record keeping maintaining AS9100 certification.

  • Assist with employing inventory control measures and analyzes inventory statistics to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Assist with ensuring all incoming inventory is distributed to the correct projects.

  • Prepare and coordinate all out-bound shipments.

  • Assist with reporting inventory statistics to management and suggest improvements to inventory control.

  • Coordinate with other team members to resolve discrepancies between inventory and reporting

  • Updates and maintains inventory databases and systems to accurately manage inventory.

  • Receive and document all shipments, contact addressee, and account for all equipment in accordance with Army Property Accountability Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and local guidance for DOD Programs.

  • Coordinates RMA shipments of faulty equipment back to vendors.

  • Assists with recommending method of shipment and prepare items for shipping, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

  • Assists with preparing bills of lading and maintains documentation of property shipped.

  • May operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work areas.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; and 1+ years of relevant experience and/or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field

  • 0-3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

  • Proficient in MS desktop applications

  • Knowledgeable in logistics and supply chain management

  • Positive and effective communicator

  • Basic technical writing

  • Possess a valid driver's license

  • Possess or able to obtain a United States Passport

  • Communication Proficiency

  • Knowledgeable in DoD/DA publications and forms

  • US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Hold Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)
  • DoD Supply/Logistics experience

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $34,000 to $46,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
