Junior Graphic Designer - AI Asset Creation

Alpinestars is seeking a passionate Junior Graphic Designer to join our team and take part in the exciting integration of AI into our creative workflows. In this role, you will focus on creating and enhancing visual assets using AI technologies, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to life across various media platforms. You'll work closely with senior designers and creative teams to explore AI-generated design possibilities and assist in producing assets that align with Alpinestars' brand aesthetics and identity as performance-driven innovators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use AI tools to create and iterate on visual assets, including product images, marketing materials, social media content, and more.
• Develop generative design concepts with AI software (such as Adobe Sensei, DALL·E, MidJourney, etc.) to create new graphics, logos, layouts, and illustrations.
• Collaborate with the design team to refine AI-generated assets, ensuring they meet Alpinestars' standards for brand consistency, quality, and creativity.
• Help automate repetitive design tasks, such as background removal, image enhancement, and resizing, using AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Experiment with AI-driven visual styles, exploring new creative directions and techniques that push the boundaries of design.
• Generate high-quality mockups, presentations, and prototypes for digital, print, and web assets, integrating AI-produced content seamlessly.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining an AI-generated asset library for easy access and future use.
• Stay on top of AI trends and advancements in creative software, and proactively introduce new techniques or tools to enhance the design process.
• Support the development of innovative, interactive design concepts using AI-generated graphics for digital and social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of proven experience preferred, internships OK. However, we will consider students nearing the conclusion of their undergraduate studies as a paid internship as well.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
• Experience or strong interest in using AI tools for creative purposes (e.g., Adobe Sensei, MidJourney, DALL·E, RunwayML, etc.).
• A keen interest in generative art, AI design tools, and exploring new technologies in the creative field.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
• Ability to work with AI-generated content while maintaining a high level of creativity and originality.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to edit and refine AI-generated assets.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.
• Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects with quick turnaround times.
• Must be able to travel to the office and work on-site daily. This is a fully on-site position.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D design (After Effects, Blender, etc.).
• Familiarity with web design and UX/UI design principles.
• Understanding of AI's role in asset creation for social media, digital marketing, and e-commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of data-driven design and how AI can optimize visual content for performance.

$25 - $28 an hour

Salary will be dependent on experience, regardless of FT or PT employment.
