We're seeking a future team member for the role of Junior Fixed Income Sales and Execution Associate to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - ONSITE

Team Overview:

BNY Mellon's Pershing has supported many of the world's most sophisticated and successful financial services firms for more than 80 years. Wealth and institutional firms rely on us for clearing and custody, trading and settlement services, a broad suite of investment solutions, middle and back-office support, data insights, and business consulting.  BNY Mellon's Pershing offers both Wealth Solutions for broker-dealers, registered investment advisors (RIA) and trust company clients, and Institutional Solutions for prime brokers and institutional broker-dealers.

The Fixed Income Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated, service-oriented individual to drive organic growth through providing outstanding service to our broker dealer, registered investment advisor, and hedge fund clients in support of their fixed income trading needs.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Delivering outstanding client service and support to both internal and external clients, including phone and email interaction, transaction processing, trade execution and system support

• Proactively communicate with clients, traders, and other internal groups to provide pre- and post- execution support.

• Special handling of complex transactions and situations.

• Developing knowledge of compliance requirements, desk policies and trading standards.

• Partnering with business development colleagues to drive adoption of solutions and increase sales.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1-3 years of working experience preferred. 

• FINRA License Requirements -   Series 7 and Series 63 or get within 90 days of hire.

• Effective communication skills 

• A desire to collaborate, problem solve and seek innovative ways to improve processes.

• Experience serving clients in a business-to-business setting.

• Fixed Income knowledge preferred.

• Pershing knowledge and experience preferred.
