Job Description - Junior Financial Controller

GroupM is looking for a Junior Financial Controller who will be involved in supporting the Financial Control and Reporting team in all the activities regarding financial planning, analysis and reporting. He/She will actively participate in all key financial processes: month/quarter/year ends, business reviews, forecasting and budgeting and therefore having daily interactions with the wider Finance team, mainly administration and agency Finance.

We expect the candidate to also be able to engage and interact outside the Finance community, to analyze and communicate business results to key stakeholders and to participate to the continuous improvement of our internal processes.

MAIN TASKS

• Support to month end closure activities and reconciliations
• Preparation of month end reporting packages and relevant documentations
• Actual data analysis, key deviations from budget/previous year
• Support to financial planning cycle: data collection, template automation and consolidation, related reporting activities

ABOUT YOU

• The candidate should be graduate, preferably Master's Degree in Business or Economics studies
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills
• Good interpersonal skills and keen to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, excel and power point)
• 1 or 2 years previous experience in Finance Controlling in Media Industry or Audit will be a plus
• Hard worker
• Able to work in team
• Passionate
