Junior Estimator

Hiring an entry level estimator for a major Marine Construction company based in Suffolk County. This is a great opportunity to break into the construction industry with a well established, busy firm.

Description:

• Role is an entry-level estimator for a Marine Construction company located in Westhampton Beach.

• 70% of projects are public, the rest private

• No prior knowledge of construction or estimating needed, they will train.

• Company has been around for 54 years

• They're looking for someone to join the estimating role long-term

• Currently working on a $6 million private project

• Bidding and likely to win a $5.6 million project in Oyster Bay

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of professional experience (in the workforce, not necessarily in estimating)

• Bachelor's degree

• Candidate should have an interest in construction estimating

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and proper email etiquette
