NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Junior Data Storage Specialist to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).

Duties

Performs daily storage administration, maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring functions for all parts of the SAN storage infrastructure including but not limited to zoning, storage allocations, cabling,. Works on critical storage related projects with the direction of Senior SAN administrators. Troubleshoots all storage related issues.

Assists in upgrades and migrations for disk arrays, switches, and servers. Assists with monitoring and reporting for SAN storage in reference to performance as well as usage and trends analysis. Participates in application and server consolidation efforts and performs additional Data Storage related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

HS Education Requirement
1 year of relevant experience or equivalent work experience
1+ years hands-on experience maintaining Storage Area Networks.

Has basic knowledge and experience of SAN and NAS principles. Has knowledge of UNIX and Microsoft operating systems as it pertains to mounting and managing LUNs and HBA configurations

If so, this Junior Manufacturing Specialist role could be an ideal opportunity to explore. * Authors EM and PM notifications and assess product impact using inputs from various departments. * Assists in investigations including root cause analysis * Revision and management of manufacturing documents such as Batch Records and SOPs * Leads the rapid response for issues identified on the floor with completion of the incident form and supporting data as required to establish a path forward with area leadership & operational quality. * Initiates a Quality Notification as required following the rapid response and per the priority determine by quality. Transfer all collected investigative information to the owning specialist and support additional data capture as needed. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: * BA / BS in a scientific or technical discipline, and 2+ years of demonstrated technical competency in biopharmaceutical manufacturing processing. * Previous experience in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility (operations experience preferred) * Previous experience in production control systems (Delta-V , CCDARTS, Unicorn, or similar) * Previous experience authoring and/or revising technical documents * Knowledge of cGMP requirements and practices and previous experience in a cGMP setting * Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally, lead teams and implement project plans on time and on budget * Excellent communication and technical writing skills * Ability to support and/or lead system troubleshooting efforts * Participate in cross-functional teams to solve production problems Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: * Advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering * Knowledge of cGMP requirements and practices and previous experience in a cGMP setting * Ability to work effectively cross-functionally, lead teams and implement project plans on time and on budget Why GSK?
