Junior Data Engineer

Trissential is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join our client's team remotely in Rochester, MN. The ideal candidate will support various data warehouse migration projects to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and assist with section-level projects requiring data architecture expertise. The successful candidate will collaborate with other Data Engineers in a team environment to design and build robust solutions tailored to project needs. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.

Responsibilities

• Receive guidance from senior team members and supervisors

• Interact with various stakeholders, including internal IT staff, allied health staff, consultants, vendors, and contractors

• Work on assigned projects and tasks, escalating complex issues to appropriate individuals

• Participate in team activities, contributing to the design and implementation of data solutions

• Assist in technical planning and provide input for yearly division planning

• Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects, adhering to established deadlines and priorities

• Collaborate with colleagues virtually as needed to perform job responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of data engineering experience

• Experience working in healthcare technology is preferred but not required

• Exposure to managing custom-developed and vendor-supplied applications is a plus

• Basic understanding or interest in healthcare technology

• Exposure to managing applications is a plus

Benefits

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 annually based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
