Junior Data Analyst

We believe in the power of automation and carefully applied AI/ML to solve problems that are beyond what the unaided human mind can tackle on its own. In the first phase of our development, we are using our map of odor along with cutting-edge generative AI to create the next generation of aroma molecules (e.g., the ingredients in the fragrances we wear and the products we use). Beyond fragrance machine olfaction has application across many industries, including manufacturing, military, medicine, and more.

Working for Osmo means solving problems using digital olfaction for these customers. We're a hybrid company with a laboratory and center-of-mass in New York, NY and offices in Somerville, MA.

Osmo is hiring a Junior Data Analyst contractor to work on a short term skunkworks project that will take 3-6 weeks.

The goal will be organizing data from various sources and aligning the products by name where sometimes the names may require googling and careful inspection to see if they are the same or different. The ability to code is a plus since some data may be matched with simple name matching without much more human intervention. The data will be delivered in a google sheet with different tabs and the main sheet expected to be filled out based on the matching.

Remote is an option.

Pay is $35-$50 an hour depending on skills and qualifications.
